Education Office

The office is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Faculty and ensuring the efficient coordination of key academic and administrative areas. Its responsibilities span several areas, including: 

Faculty Operations

The  Office manages the operations of the Faculty across both academic and administrative domains. This includes coordinating internal processes, supporting academic staff, and ensuring effective governance practices within the Faculty. 

Placements

The Education Office manages the operations of all student placements in the faculty. This includes coordinating Placements for students in the Bachelor of Education and Early Childhood and Care programs. It also supports Professional Practicum and Placement experiences for postgraduate students. 

Examinations and Assessments

The office is responsible for the operational coordination of the examination process and ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of assessments. 

Postgraduate Programmes

The office oversees the day-to-day administration of postgraduate courses, including enrolment, timetabling, student support, and communication with faculty members. 

Curriculum Development Unit (CDU)

The Curriculum Development Unit (CDU) plays a key role in developing and distributing curriculum texts used in teacher education and related outreach projects. The CDU is responsible for creating high-quality educational materials that align with national standards, and the Administrative Office supports the sale and dissemination of these resources. Additionally, the CDU contributes to the Faculty’s outreach initiatives, providing expertise and support for projects aimed at improving educational outcomes in schools and communities.

Location

The Education Office is located in Room 307, situated on the third floor of the Foundation Building, and is open from 9am-12pm and 2-4.45pm, Monday to Friday.
