Would you like to learn more about our undergraduate programmes? Want to know what it's really like to be a student at MIC? Don’t miss the MIC Open Days at our campuses in Limerick and Thurles this October and November, and discover all that MIC has to offer.
Limerick Campus
The MIC Limerick Open Days will take place on Thursday 17 (9am-2pm) and Friday 18 October (9am-1pm). Our Open Days are an excellent opportunity for prospective students to check out all that MIC has to offer.
Event highlights include:
Live Programme Talks – College experts will deliver insightful and informative presentations on each programme at multiple times each day, giving you the opportunity to learn about the unique aspects of MIC’s degrees. See programme talks schedules here.
Campus Tours – Taking a campus tour is a great way to check out our on-campus facilities. Campus tours, led by current MIC students, will take place on both days. Our students will give you an insight into what it’s really like to study at MIC and will be happy to answer any questions you may have about student life at MIC.

Information Stands – There will be an array of information stands where you can get all the important information you need on accommodation, access routes, disability support, fees and grants, scholarships, work placement, Erasmus, clubs and societies, and much more.
If you’re a teacher/guidance counsellor attending with a group of students, please register your group.
Thurles Campus
The MIC Thurles Open Day will take place on Saturday 9 November (10am-1pm). If you’re considering a career as a post-primary teacher, then the MIC Thurles Open Day is not to be missed!
On the day, you’ll find out all you need to know about MIC's post-primary teaching degrees in Gaeilge, Mathematics, Accounting, Business Studies, Religious Studies and Home Economics.
You'll also get to explore our Thurles campus, meet with MIC lecturers and students, and learn all about what it’s like to be a student at MIC Thurles.
