Continuing Professional Development
Anne Dolan (together with Dr. Patricia Kennon, Froebel, Maynooth University) ran workshops on critical literacy for the DICE network. These workshops entitled World of Stories: Exploring Global and Intercultural Issues through Picturebooks were offered as part of the DICE continuing professional development programme. The workshop were offered in Limerick, Dublin and Maynooth.

Completed research projects
2018-2022 Climate Change Education in Primary School: an interdisciplinary approach: I am leading a research project which aims to help teacher educators and primary teacher address the challenges posed by climate change. I am facilitating a continuing professional development (CPD) programme for members of staff from Mary Immaculate College. The programme is designed to encourage and support beginning and experienced writers to write a chapter about teaching climate change from the perspective of their own specialism eg drama, art or sociology. This project is designed to engage members of staff from Mary Immaculate College to support climate change education in an interdisciplinary manner.

This qualitative research was conducted by Mary Immaculate College and funded by SEAI to review the SEAI educational outreach schools programme for both primary and second level schools in Ireland.
