Dr Joëlle Popineau, from Université François-Rabelais in Tours, one of our long-standing partner institutions, is visiting us this week as part of the Erasmus Teaching Mobility Scheme. After giving a tutorial this morning to our second-year students on French business correspondence, Dr Popineau introduced our first-year students to French New Wave cinema this afternoon. It is the second time in the space of two years that Dr Popineau is coming to MIC and it is hoped that this new visit will pave the way to further collaboration between our two institutions, notably in the field of research.
